WELCOME to St. Andrew Nativity School
St. Andrew Nativity School is a Jesuit Catholic middle school dedicated to offering an academically challenging curriculum in a highly structured environment to low income students of all faiths.
St. Andrew Nativity School cultivates in its students the spiritual, intellectual, and personal strengths, which will empower them to continue their education in the high school and college of their choice. The school is staffed by professional educators, Jesuits, and committed volunteers.
The St. Andrew Nativity School program strives to form young "men and women for others" who are dedicated to bringing all their talents to fullness and using them to serve their families and their community.

Nativity School’s Boys 2 Men Group
Seventh and Eighth Grade Boys Learning to Become Responsible Role Models
The goal of The Boys 2 Men Group is to help young men transition from boyhood to responsible manhood by exposing them to positive role models, information and experiences. The activities and discussions of the group are designed to strengthen the body, mind, and soul of the group participants.
Boys 2 Men is co-facilitated by Sgt. George Weatheroy, a 22 year veteran of the Portland Police Department, and Sonya Strickland, LCSW, who is the school counselor at St. Andrew Nativity School. Sgt. Weatheroy is a graduate of Jesuit High School and currently serves on their Board of Trustees. He feels very passionate about doing God’s work by giving back to the community. He has been facilitating boys’ groups at local elementary, middle, and high schools for 20 years.
