Vice President for Development

 St. Andrew Nativity School is a tuition free Catholic, Jesuit middle school serving low income middle school youth. Nativity School seeks a Vice President for Development to lead its comprehensive program of annual giving, major gifts, special events, planned giving and public relations. Emphasis is on solicitation of current and potential major donors with President and Board of Trustees. A new campaign is in the planning stage.

 This is an exciting opportunity to help at-risk youth receive an excellent education that prepares them to become leaders. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years progressively successful Development experience;
  • Previous management and supervisory experience;
  • Ability to independently solicit major gifts of $5,000+;
  • Excellent writing, public speaking and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work with and meet deadlines;
  • A solid presence; ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities;
  • Bachelor’s degree.

A Little Background On St. Andrew

St. Andrew Nativity School opened in 2001 to an eager class of 6th grade students.  It has expanded to also include grades 7 & 8.  Now, this Jesuit middle school serves 60 students.
